Intel 520 Series 240 GB SATA review

Intel 520 Series 240 GB SATA review

Intel 520 Series 240 GB SATA 6 Gb/s 2.5-Inch Solid-State Drive - SSDSC2CW240A3K5

I have a 120 GB is only intended to run the game from there. I do not know how easy it is to migrate all of my C drive to a SSD.

Intel ™ provides a migration utility that allows you to clone a drive with this unit. So I cloned my C drive (my Windows installation, and the main file), which allows me to boot directly to the SSD, as if nothing had happened. This is a very simple process and the software and manual will guide you through it.

So now I do not expect to boot from my SSD without having to install anything. What used to take a few minutes to start settling in and do it in a few seconds of your Windows fly, so I feel I have got the record is great - I went with the 120 GB because I wanted to get in Windows.Se know that cloning will be easy (and good), may be obtained on 240 GB.

A good tip. But if you do this.

You can save some 'space on the disks installed on your Windows folder by moving Windows "user" of another disk in Windows 7 is simply open Windows Explorer, search for "\ Users YourNameHere" folder. and right click the folder ("Documents", "music", "Download", etc.)

go to Properties, select the location. Tab, and switch to drive the Windows 7 will automatically transfer all the content in a new location and delete the originals after the space on the SSD, since I have tons of music and some videos, and more recently released. is 30 GB SSD, I have reason to take my music is not the SSD.

Regarding the overall cost, easy to install if you install the SATA drive is the same thing. The only thing I do is go to a fancy to my BIOS to change the boot drive and you can move the document.

I think see how this is the long term. The 5-year warranty, may be better than my original disk.
